I watched Sosa when he played for Baltimore and had a hard time figuring out what happened to this great player from the Cubs years. I don't think he will do well but for the Rangers fans I hope he does. If the Rangers ever get pitching they will do well they already have the hitters.

I'm a Rangers fan, so I hope he has some magic to end his career on a high note, right here where he started, but I agree w the others.

He didn't do much for Baltimore, & a year off rarely helps any player, especially an aging one!!

In Baltimore we called him Sammy So So!

Nope.....He will, however, sell tickets.

His return to baseball will be the same, if not worse, than his last year at Baltimore for a couple of reasons.
1. His work habit hasn't changed
2. He will draw attention from the media about his steriod use.
3. He is all about Sammy. (Not a team player) It was obvious at Chicago. No dedication what so ever.

If Sammy can hit a 12 homers to hit get up to 600, he will have a good year. However, I doubt he will even make the team. To hit 12 homers, he will probably have to play the whole season. That just isn't happening. He is done.

I think that Sammy is only looking to break 600 HR's to pad his chances of getting into the Hall of Fame and that would be a good year for him.

Slamming Sammy will reach the 600 HR's he so desperately wants this year.

I saw a thing that said the Rangers manager wants him to bat as high as 5th in the order! Wow are the Rangers in trouble if that happens. I would be surprised if they wasted a roster spot on him.

He might have a decent year for a bench player like 2 -5hr, 25-40rbi and .200avg. BUt hes not going to have a stellar year.
