I recently had unprotected sex with my boyfriend (trying to conceive) four days leading up to ovulation...What are the chances of me becoming pregnant...We are unable to have sex everyday because of our schedules

I would say you have a good chance of being pregnant. According to my midwife, most women become pregnant with sex prior to their ovulation day. This could mean up to 4 days before the actual ovulation. I conceived my son on Day 8 of my cycle and I dont think that I ovulated until day 13. It would be wise to act as if you are pregnant, just in case you are. Hope it worked, and goodluck!

If he came inside then chances are pretty high that you could become pregnant. Ovulation cannot always be predicted on the exact day. I would act as though you are pregnant until you find out otherwise. Just take care of your body.

A friend of mine who had difficulty conceiving for years told me what did it was a pillow under the tush during intercourse. This was advice from her doctor who said that the gravity will help the "little swimmers" get to their destination. In fairness to your future child, though, he/she will be in a more secure situation if you got married first before he/she comes along. Good luck!
