so I get the .you can't sing thing ,but making fun of their physical looks???Is being meaner the new attraction..and we wonder where our children learn it from..duh..

He does go overboard sometimes, but most of the time he tells it like it is. He should stick with criticizing their singing "talent".....a lot of it is just atrocious !!!!!! As far as their looks...that can't be helped.....so yeah.....Simon needs to shut up about that.

You need to realize that Simon is looking ahead to when they start marketing the singer. If you had two guys that sounded the same and one was gorgeous and one butt ugly and fat. who would you choose???? Unfortunately even if you have the talent the public also wants the look. Simon is simply being honest. He's the only judge who tells it like it is. Why tell someone they sing great when they are awful. If there were more honest people like Simon they wouldn't have to listen to so many clueless people who think they can sing. We can't all be beautiful. But we expect all the singers, actors, and celebrities to be. The people he made fun of would you buy their Cd's or go to their concerts???? Even if they could sing and Simon let them go to the next level, I KNOW!!! the public will boot them !!!
PS American Idol is not just about singing. It's the whole package!!!

It's not just Simon. Paula is just as horrid. She was laughing after that contestant left the room. And the PRODUCERS - they could have edited that right out of the show - but they chose to leave it in and shock America with Simon's cruelty. It's so very sick! Everybody say a prayer for these cruel people!

i think of he's prosperous sufficient to not choose it. it could have been final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days's X ingredient, yet Simon replace into sitting exterior his villa! the dimensions of it! He might desire to offer the 20% to somebody who desires it. Like charity of something.

Yes..You can't make fun of appearance..Look at Boy George and Cindy Lauper. They both were funky and they both had singing careers.

yeah I did a question about american idol earlier today about them exploiting people who are mentally challenged as well. I mean look at randy and paula, neither one are beauty queens
