I cannot say that I wanted to die, but after my partner's death and the vile treatment by our "in laws" I suffered a suicidal depression. My life at the time could be summed p as follows...
"Adieu, the years are a broken song
and right grows weak in the fight with wrong
The lillies of love have a crimson stain
and the old days never will come again."
I sought help and have recovered but recognize that what I went through was in part the result of my refusing to see what was happening.
May your days be the brightest of spring. Rose P.

Of course the first answer tries to make it sound so much easier than what it is. Remember, you are who you are. If you don't like you, you can either TRY to accept it... or do the second method... (which I don't suggest AT ALL) and just lie to yourself enough and even though you're gay, just act like your straight and go for the opposite sex.

that's horrible! Why would you say that? gay people are humans too! And they deserve to live like everyone else does. There is nothing wrong with being gay. I'd be proud if i were gay.

I am not a lesbian but have had thoughts of wanting to die. I do know that suicide is more prevelent amongst homosexual teens because of the general attitude towards homosexuallity at that age and being confused over who they are.

Yes, and I when I look back on my feelings at that time in my life I am happy I have grown as a person since then to no longer have such destructive feelings and have more of a feeling of self worth and self esteem.
