do women wear stockings and thigh highs out nowadays or has that fad passed?

I love sheer black thigh high stockings. And I'm no old lady! I'm 19. I just wanna know why guys like them so much?!

This is not necessarily an answer, but I just want to commend you ladies on wearing stockings and thigh highs. I'm amazed at the number of younger girls, or ladies, that seem to think that stockings and thigh highs are for grannies and older women. All I have to say is kudos to you all, and spread the word about stockings.

stockings are pretty much a thing of the past. Some older people wear stockings. Younger ladies that want to be sexier wear thigh highs for special occations. Its mostly a person chpice but I think the trend now is thigh highs!

I am a guy and I love wearing thigh highs. I also wear regular stockings sometimes with a garter belt. I love the way the nylon makes your legs feel.

I'm a stocking enthusiast and for me, it depends on what else I'm wearing.
For example, I wear thigh-highs if my skirt is thin enough to show the closure and shape of my garter belt underneath.
In Winter, I get too cold in thigh-highs or stockings if I have a skirt on, so I generally wear tights.
I've found that my fishnets last longer if they're thigh-highs because my fishnet tights get caught on the zip on my skirt and having to roll down fishnet tights usually gets them tangled and I either get frustrated enough to rip them or leave them tangled rather than try to sort them out.
Also, good hoisery is always in fashion and at the end of season sales, I always find huge queues at the hoisery counter, which tells me that stockings are still very popular.

I wear both, but I prefer stockings for dress up and dates. They are sexier and classier, but I wear thi high to work most of the time because they are quick, and last a little longer then the ultra sheer stockings. I am in my early twenties, and consider pantyhose to be granny hose! I don't know why anyone would bother. I prefer my own panties and thongs, and don't want them covered up by nylon trousers, which is what pantyhose are.

Thigh highs are definitely easier, both to find, and to put on. Stockings with a garter belt still arouses a guy's..... umm... interest, so they can be fun to wear occassionally/.

I prefer stockings and a garter belt because then feel better and are a lot more sexy looking and feeling. Many of my girlfriends prefer hold ups, but they are on the heavy side and the hold ups hold up better, and they worry about the garter belt. I am thin so the garter belt is very comfy, and the hold ups tens not to hold up.
We all agree on one thing however, tights, and pantyhose suck!

I wear thigh highs all the time to work. They're more comfortable to me than regular hose.

thigh highs rock! and i am not an ancient person. but i personally don't like stockings
