If it helps, I'm getting the same error. I restored my system; deleted java from the system and downloaded it again; tried to clear the cache; reloaded proxy configuration and everything. Even posted a question myself about the same thing, don't see that either nor did I get any answer to help with. Nothing seems to work so I don't think it's you or your computer. It has to be something wrong with yahoo. I need java to run other programs on the computer and they work fine. I guess it's not meant for us to play tonight. Just thought I let you know you're not the only one out there with the same problem.

when i logged in and went to spades, my "JAVA" needed updating, so that went thru then i go to play spades and i get "Applet ygames_applet notinited" --- however, i can play Gin but haven't tried other games yet. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling java but that didn't work..... Must be the spades server---- only thing in can think of.

I might help to say what the exception is. Out of memory exception, null pointer exception, what???
