She is on a college team and I talk to her after most of her games. We have know each other for about three months. We have emailed each other twice. My real question is, in her eyes am I a fan or a friend. My parents say not to worry about it, and just play it by ear. I'm not a stalker or obsessed, it's just I can't tell when she talks to me that she's trying to do her job and get more fans at the games. Or she really wants to spend time with me. Anyone have advice for me?

well she has invited me to more games and when she comes out after her games she always seeks me out. We talk for a while and she gives me advice for things. I have asked her if she could come out to my team and help us with some plays. She has agreed. Are college athletes VERY BUSY?

Just be a casual friend to her like you would anyone else. Being a celebrity, particulaly in college sports, is no big deal. Get over it.

Go with your gut feeling girlfriend if you question whether or not you are a fan or a friend this is bad. you should spend your time talking to someone else instead of wasting your time on someone that is self-absorbed. I mean I know if she play sports why has she not invited you out thats what i do when people talk to me I invite them to parties and stuff. At my university some people just think are better then others she probably has a click of friends. I have been a part of a sorority so I know how some of these people are. you should still talk to her only if she acknowledges you.you should save your emails for someone else.

I wish people would give their age because it would make it easier to give advice. Are you in college too? If you are younger than that, then I think she is just being nice. If you are her same age, then you will just have to play it by ear. Next game, ask her if she wants to meet for coffee or something. If she does, great. If she says she is busy, then it is in her ball park to ask you next. Don't be clingy...Also, is she like really famous or just famous at the college? Either way, no big deal. She is just like everyone else.

I would just take it day to day.
Knowing celebrities can be a job in itself. I know first hand. I've know a certain person for almost 20 years now & he's one of the most sought after males on the planet. I often asked myself the same question once he hit the big time.
Just be there for your friend when she needs you. In the end you'll realize you had nothing to worry about! :)

Sounds like an acquaintance thing to me. If it were a friendship, there'd be more communication and spending time together. Not just a short conversation or exchange of words after her games.
Perhaps in time it will grow.

Personally, I do not trust popular people. They have great interpersonal skills, and they are really good ACTORS . And I think they really dunn mean what they say. But that's my personal opinion about those people.
