If this is the case, then undoubedtly he is involved probably with someone else and uses this as an excuse so that you will think that all is cool. I feel that if he kept standing you up and saying that he is to busy to have time for you, then it is time to move on to someone else who can love you for who you are and not what you are. there are too many perverts in this world today and all they are after is sex. Please choose your boyfriend carefully. Choose someone that is interested in you for who you are as a person and not what you are as a woman/girl. I would tell your current boyfriend that you are tired of him not having time for you and that you are not going to keep the relationship alive and that it is over and move on with your life. This dude sounds like the type of person that wants only what he wants and is not concerned with others and believe me, you do not need this type of person to have a relationship with. Have been there done that.
Hope that you will move on with your life and do not let this guy be a roadblock in your way. Tell him to c'est la vie. (GET A LIFE)
That is how I see it. Hope this helps you.

I would break up with him, in person, & wish him better luck in the future. If he's too busy, he's too busy, no hard feelings or games. If you're missing out now, why would a boyfriend want you to be lonely, when the world is full of people who would enjoy being with you?

Find something that interests you without him and do it. Hopefully it will catch his attention that you found something to do without him and make a habit of doing whatever you find without him. Eventually, it will bother him because you have something to do while he's too busy for you and when he wants to do something tell him you are too busy and see how he likes it. Maybe it will open his eyes and he will realize that he's pushing you away by being too busy for you and now that you have found something to keep you busy he will know what you were going through when he didn't have time for you.

Then he is not commiting to the relationship. He may not be ready to settle down. If that is the case, and you have already told him how you feel and he didn't care, than you could get someone else. Someone who will take you out to dinner, movie, or maybe even a road trip. I wouldn't expect the guy to spend every min. with you, that is just a guy. But when guys are in love, they would rather spend time with that person than anyone else. Hope this helps

Here is a true test. I always heard that when someone is too busy for you that if you act like you just don't care, and you start doing things alone it will eat him up. Men can't stand it if they think that we are not chasing them, because naturally they like to move in for the kill (so to speak). So girl friend do something different, act like you just don't care.

Give him an ultimatum. If he doesn't realize that he is not giving you the attention you deserve, then it might be beneficial to point it out, because he may not realize that he isn't paying much attention to you. So, let him know what's up!! If he still isn't giving you any time, then drop his butt like a bad habit!!

Realize he enjoys his free time without you. If this bugs you then move on. If you like his free spirit and you secretly wish you could be like him, then get your own interests and don't make HIM the center of your universe.
