ehh. the best are:
green day ... their earlier stuff, from the 90's
or
my chemical romance ... but only their newest album. Their older music was okay, but this new cd is really impressive.
panic! at the disco is an alright band, but they're pretty mainstream and cliched and whatnot.
good charlotte is... hmmm. they're just too much of a typical almost-emo/trying-to-be-punk band. though, their first album was pretty good. they have some good songs on their later albums also.

I don't know, obviously since everyone is going to pick something different, nobody really knows what the best is.
Panic! happens to be insanely original and talented- moreso than people give them credit for, and there's so much more to them than "IWSNT" and Brendon/Ryan... but some people don't acknowledge that. It's sad how narrow-minded people can be about that.
My Chem is also one of my favorite bands- "TBP" wasn't really my favorite, but "Three Cheers..." and "I Brought You My Bullets..." are definitely a couple of my favorite CDs.
Green Day is one of the first bands I remember listening to. I really like "Dookie," but "International Superhits" is really my favorite, if that counts. It's cool to see how they've evolved over time. "American Idiot" I'm pretty indifferent about.
I'm not such a Good Charlotte fan, but that's just my opinion.

I think Panic at the Disco it Better becuase.......They have good music. Its not the screaming type. It just suits me & my friends.
