I'm what many may call a really clumsy girl. I tend to drop my pen a lot and accidentally write on my clothing & while playing around with the pen. And when i put it in the wash, the marks barely come off. How can i get rid of them?

What everyone is forgetting is that after you spray the hairspray you are supposed to rub it with a bar of soap.

My daughter had quite a large ink spot on her back pocket (in a pair of brand new jeans...sigh,) but I did the hairspray and soap and it came right off. Didn't have to run it through the washer to get any of the stain out.

Treat them with a stain remover before washing them, but an old fashioned remedy was to spray them with hair spray and then run under cold water and repeat until gone- this use to work but I don't know if with all the new types on inks and hairsprays if it still will! Good Luck! Tide makes a stain pen called Tide to GO that might be a good thing to try!

I use hair spray to take ink off of fabrics. It works great. Unfortunately, I don't know if it will still work now that you have washed and dried the fabric. Yo may have to use a chemical spot remover.
Good luck to you on this.

Straight rubbing alcohol will work, but it may also take out the color from your clothes...so I'd only use it on whites. Soak a corner of a white washcloth with the alcohol, then scrub. Don't soak the clothing itself.
