Oh yeah! I remember having one of those too when I was around 5 weeks pregnant ( Im 32 weeks now ) Its alot of fun but you really cant see much. Your baby will kinda just look like a blob, it dosnt have any features of a baby yet. But its still really cool to get to see, because you will be even more amazed when you get your 20th week ultrasound and see how your little blob has grown into a beautiful baby!! Good luck!!

The doctor will perform a vaginal ultrasound. It does not hurt but is not comfy. You will be able to see your tiny baby, it looks really little, but you will know if the sac is ok, if the position in the uterus is good and how many babies you are going to have (if it runs in your family, you had a procedure to conceive, etc).

Yes they call it a transvaginal ultrasound and he will probably be able to see a heatbeat if you are lucky. I had these every month with my twins and saw first heartbeat at 4 weeks. Congratulations!

They will probably do a vag. ultrasound. It works the same as an abdominal ultrasound. At this stage the clarity is better than an abd. us.. Good luck!

I got one almost that early, but I think I was 8 weeks! All she looked like was a peanut! Good luck!

They won't be able to determine the sex :( I found that out after I had my ultrsound at 13 weeks and your baby probably won't really look like a baby yet

it will be a vaginal one to look for the sac and to see where in your uterus it is positioned
