It depends on the song format and song filesize. Assuming you've got 3mb MP3 files, then you'll be able to fit about 300 songs on there.

It all depends on how much memory each song takes. There are 1000 MB in 1 GB. So if an average song has 3MB, then you can hold around 330 songs.

depends a 1gb p3 can hold 500 songs in wma format and around 300 songs mp3 format
