"Preps" don't always think they are better than everyone else, granted some of them do put themselves on a pedastal, but for the most part, they are just raised differently.
Not everyone hates preps. You're obviosly not a prep. So, what are you? A poser? Skater? Emo kid? Scene? Goth? Jock? Hillbilly? Gangster? Wangster? Hard core? Punk? Ska? Rude girl or Rude boy? Geek? Surfer? Wanna be surfer?
Lots of categories now a days...so that dwindles down the number of kids in each group...and whatever category you fall in, you can rest assured kids from all the other categories hate you too.
From a mom's point of view, if you all would narrow down your categories, things would be a lot easier, lol.

Think of it like this though...if no one likes them, why are they so popular? People say, "just because you're a cheerleader and you drive a nice car doesn't mean you're better than me!" and NO, no one is any better than the next person. Also consider the way "preps" were raised...their parents are probably the same exact way as they are. Rich folks breed rich kids and the gap between upper and lower class is only growing. Realize that it's not them that makes them the popular kids...obviously if they're popular, someone looks up to them as a role model whether it be looks or attitude. Just don't let it bother you.

I'm a perp.
Not every one hates me but I am at the very bottom of the social pecking order.
Expecially, if you are a victim, I accept that you will have to come to terms with it yourself, in your own way, and in your own time.
I have made amends to those I have harmed and now they love me (my family).
If you hate me then I suppose you hate my family too.
Well, we really don't need your support.
Just go on hating and passing pain onto others. That's what makes the world turn these days.

i don't know they think they are so rich, (i'm a prep) but i don't act like that. they think they are all that.
