In Zelda for wii after you find all the monkeys how do u open the door to the purple dot?

You need the boss key, I think. It's in the room with a lot of water and four windmills. It's two or three back from the room leading to the boss room.

If you found all the monkeys then they build a bridge with their bodies to get you across, so I'm not sure you found them all.
