There are day people and night people- everybody has their own body rhythm that governs when it's "natural" to sleep and to wake. If you have an easy time staying up all night whether you're working or not, and you can sleep in the day, you may be a night person. If not, well, you can still train your body to do it, but it will always be a strain.

To understand the nature of your question, think of aircraft pilots or a person working in the shipping industry . An aircraft from India to US takes off in the morning say 8 am and arrives in the US after say 8 hrs say at midnight. Or a ship travelling around the globe. For them day is night; night is day. It is no pleasure or curse. It is only called jet lag. Get used to it. It is a part of life.

If your body rhythm accept the schedule of night shifts then its same as working during the days. If not its a real pain and people think its a curse. But then the people who complain are the ones who did not have a choice in selecting the night shift but has been imposed on them for whatever reasons.
Quite a lot persons are working night shifts.. pilots, train drivers, truck drivers, police etc etc

Depends on the person. I prefer to work nights. But then again, it is kind of a mission to have to get ready for work late in the day after you've spent the day lounging at home.
