Girl yes it will.To be honest my husband told me the sex is better than it was before.I don't know why but it is for me too.It just depends on the person.I had a 9 pound-er 22 inches long.I never did kegals.Just take care of yourself and let it heal correctly you should be fine.Plus after all the time he waited he will just be excited to hear the word sex.Thats a long six weeks!!(six years in man time) congrads on the new baby and just take care of yourself

Congratulations on the baby!
From the guy's perspective, sex is as good as ever after three kids (though the last was a C-section). The real problem is trying to get enough sleep that you feel like having sex after the baby is born.
(I won't comment about how much many men enjoy having a sucky time in bed... as long as it's meant literally. :-)

yes it will go back to normal . they say do kegal exercises to strengthen the muscle back up . Sex will still be great but it might be a slow process . Usually takes women 2-3 months after wards depending on if you get any stiches after you deliver . It took me a year but I am just a problem itself . Good luck

It should go back to normal soon, do the Kegals and try some Ben-Wa balls. If you had to have an episiotomy, the doc could have given you an "extra stitch" to tighten things up, but sounds like it's a bit late for that.
Congrats on your new arrival!!!

No, you will be fine..........it goes back on it's own. I was FREAKED about this one and terrified to have sex when my doc gave me the okay. But things were completely back to normal, and my husband swears he cannot tell the difference at all, and niether can I. Things feel just as "snug" as they were before. And I gave birth to a 8 ound 6 ounce baby who was in the 95th percentile for her head! Talk about stitches....I thought the midwife was sewing the baby a blanket!!

It will go back.. I had three kids, they weighed 5.6, 8.4, and 6.9, I am currently pregnant with my fourth.. I am 23.. Sex is still great for me and my husband.. Kegals do work. After each child.. YOU may loose sensation, as giving birth sometimes kill nerve endings in your vaginal opening. So you may not think you are as tight as you once were.. because it doesn't feel like it to you. Things more than likely still feel great for him.

i dont think it ever goes back the way it was 100% (externally)but i dont think your boyfriend will mind at all......i think the bigger problem u will face isnt the state of your vagina but the return of normal lidido.....most women after birthg do not feel in the mood for some time, so when u do your boyfriend wont care if it has pink sideburns and tap shoes......lol.......if u love each other all will be fine :)

Human skin is stretchy, like a rubber band. It springs right back. Problem is that with all of the minuscule little tears you experience during childbirth, you're going to go through a bit of healing and will most likely heal up tighter than before.
It's funny, I was talking to one of my girlfriends about this a couple of weeks ago, and we both agreed that the first time you have sex after childbirth is like losing your virginity all over again.

if that is what you are worried about, start doing some kagel exercises by tightening and releasing your vagina. that will help get it back into shape.
it probably will go back to normal everyone is different and what works for 1 doesn't mean it will work for you. just do the exercising i told you about

no it won't stay stretched.... it is made for that very thing! :) Kegels are great...you want to do them for your on sake too.... although it is all made for child birth & your baby was relatively small....childbearing does number to EVERYTHING there. Doing those Kegels will strengthen your pelvic floor which you will need as you age(the muscles will weaken with age & you could need bladder repair surgery) .... so do your kegels & it should be good!
