I forget the name of the movie, but there is a movie coming out soon (I think it might already be out) and it's about the future and for some reason women cannot get pregnant anymore.
Could that actually happen in real life? What would happen?

Humans would have to find another way to make more humans (cloning for instance). We could also find a way to live forever, thus eliminating the need for more humans. We are a smart species; we would come up with something.

There are so many ways to produce a child now that in a few years we may not even need a human for anything more than extracting the human eggs and sperm to begin the process of playing God.
So the human race would go on ....but wow at such a cost to intimacy ....but yea ..it is possible that we may pollute our world and ourselves to the point that our reproductive systems shut down and we cannot produce. There has been increasing evidence of that in nature if anyone wants to take the time out to do a little research and really open up there eyes. But will it affect everyone in the world. Guess that could happen ....but it is not likely still as my late daddy use to say never say never.

Children of men with Clive Owen...I heard the movie was really good. If that did come true then to put it into simple terms we would be fu**ed up. I don't think it could happen(like just women) but they do say that the human race will disappear but who knows how.

There is a very slim possibility that that could actually happen. But there is a possibility.. And if that did happen... well to put it bluntly you can say goodbye to everyone in the world because we'd all die and have no one left.

well I suppose chemicals in our food, in the air we breathe ,rub on our skin might at some point have some kind of drastic effect like that even to producing deformaties etc more than what is already happening.. worse case ..ya but I think society,or at least I hope we are doing things to curb that now.........

I see someone else said "children of men", I hadn't heard of this one, but it reminded me of Aeon Flux. If you've seen the movie, it has this tied into the story. Sorry if thats cryptic, but trying not to spew spoilers. It's a good movie, especially if your a fan of the cartoon.
