i did notice that. like the other day some guy said " no offence but , have you gained a few pounds?" i wasnt really angry or any thing i just kind of laughed at the fact that he said no offence.

It is pointless to say it. Needless to say, whenever people say "no offense" the sentence comes out as really offensive and hurtful, but you can't say anything, because they don't mean any offense.

I just asked a question like this yesterday. Too bad my little douche bag stalker got it violated.
For some reason people seem to think it justifies all the insults they will give you afterwards. In SOME cases I think it's for people who can't shut their mouth, but say it because they don't want to get their *** kicked. In other cases it is because they are basically giving you constructive criticism and they want you to know that they don't mean it personally.

i totally noticed that! Whenever someone says "no adfense" it ends up being one of the most addfensive things that someone has ever said to you! It really pisses me off!!!!
