it has a 166 MHz processor speed and i was wondering if this was good or not. im gonna use it mainly for playing online poker.

Its not that I'm putting down ebay as it is a good place to buy stuff. However, if you are planning to buy a new laptop i would like to suggest to check the warranty and services and add-ons.
Its would make your like easier if you do... Otherwise, you can buy it from authorized resellers.

Hmmm, a 166? I would tell the seller you will take it off his hands for the cost of shipping. Its really not worth more than that. If you can jam 512 mbs of ram into it (motherboard may not take that much) load windows 98se on it and NOTHING else other than poker sofware, you might get some milege out of it. Maybe.

166Mhz processor? You'd be lucky if you got the computer jump started with a hamster. Are you sure you got this figure right?
People do not realize that cheap is not always better. If it breaks (and it will) will the seller support it?

don't do it, if you want a fairly cheap but reliable laptop, go to zipzoomfly.com, newegg.com, tigerdirect.com, and directron.com. Compare the features/specs thatyou want and get that, 166MHz is mad slow now a days, and should be given out for free not sold to people
