My first pregnancy was just that way. I was miserable. Getting dressed in the morning was a chore. The dr tried many different meds and really none helped. The minute my baby was born, the feeling went away. So I had the extreme nausea for the whole ten months. I feel so sorry for you.

Sounds like you just have really bad morning sickness. Try eating a small meal before getting out of bed, say saltine crackers. Even tough you aren't hungry eat little meals troughout the day and do not let your tummy get empty. Also talk to your doctor and they can prescribe medicines to help you. I'm so sorry you are feeling this bad and it should go away in your 2nd trimester.

I had the same problem! It is called Hyperemesis Gravidarum. About 1 percent of pregnant women experience severe nausea and vomiting, a condition called hyperemesis gravidarum. While normal morning sickness is thought to be caused by rising hormone levels, the precise cause of hyperemesis gravidarum is unknown. You may experience dehydration, headaches, confusion, rapid heart rate, and fainting; and may be unable to work, complete usual daily tasks, or maintain a normal social routine. HG is usually diagnosed by ruling out any other cause of severe nausea and vomiting such as pancreatitis, hepatitis, peptic ulcer disease, and hyperthyroidism. Your doctor will take a full medical history, perform a thorough clinical evaluation, and identify your symptoms.

Depending on how far along you are-would help with my answer. Every pregnancy is different. My first I was fine my second I puked nonstop. Call your doctor or a pregnancy clinic. If you don't have $ for a visit call social services. They will pay for it. If you can't take care of the kid you have now-it might be serious-It might be nothing at all. Don't take the chance though. Call a doctor now.

Everyone is different. I felt the same way for about 4 months. The doctor prescribed phenegran at night because it can make you feel sleepy and reglan for the daytime. It made it very "cope-able". Make an appointment or just call your doctor and tell them how severe it is and ask if he can call you in a prescription at your pharmacy.
Good luck

welcome to pregnancy, NOT all pregnancies are all the same. I got pregnant with my daughter when my son was almost 6 months old. I was so sick with her i could hardly move sometimes and I lost almost 10 pounds. GO to your OB and get a prescription or get some prego pops

You have morning sickness. It should subside by the second trimester.
