Armani Exchange is like Ralph Lauren Jeans or Donna Karan Jeans brands.
It's the cheaper, more casual line of Armani clothes for people who want to wear designer but can't afford it.

Armani is top designer clothing, and yes, a bit over priced. The difference is the style.... Armani is more formal and Armani Exchange is more casual. Armani Exchange isn't really for those who want the designer clothing but can't afford it, it's just a casual branch of the more formal clothing branch, "Armani"
