If u wear preppy clothes and ur not popular (in the prep group) or u don't act like all the other preps does that mean ur still a prep? If u just wear their clothes

It's just another stereotype that people place on others. Personally I think you should be able to wear what you want without having a label put on the way you look.

Clothes don't make the person, unless you're shallow and superficial. The personality makes the person and the style is just their outward canvas.
If you are in the first group, then you should still be accepted by your Prep peers. Then again, the nice Preps usually are accepted by everyone, so you should have nothing to worry about if you have a sweet personality.

no because lots of not so pretty people wear preppy clothes and they are not preps, they just like the same clothes.

Ummm... I guess not really if you just wear the clothes and you don't act or know anybody preppy then no. You just really like there style. But really theres no need to label anyone, everyones the same execept for the way they dress and express themselves. You problably didn't want to hear that (lol!) but, No you aren't preppy! â¥

You are you and you shouldn't be judged by what you wear. I know this sounds cheesy but if it's your style stick with it and be confident about it. =)
