It kind of depends how or what you're selling on ebay. I am a student too and I've learned to make some extra cash by buying and selling on ebay. I am a big shoe collector and always search the newly listed items and usualy can find some good "buy-it-nows" from people that are getting rid of shoes and don't know what they're worth. I try to snatch them up ASAP and then re-sell them whenever I receive them. When I'm doing well, I can make $20 or $30 per pair (usually Nike Air Max). It's good to target hot or trendy items too, like North Face Denali jackets. Find out what the hottest colors are and periodically check the newly listed tab. You'll be surprised what you could find.

Since you have experience with Ebay, why not pick up some Private Label Rights products and list them too. I make a couple hundred a month with $1 to $5 products and my investment was a whole $11 for a whole package of them.

It's really up to your skills and experiences to determine what's best for YOU. Some students make money tutoring, some do website design, some type reports for other students, some make crafts, some babysit, and some write articles for magazines and newsletters. Only you know what your skills are and which ones can make you a nice part time income doing what you love. The reality is if you love what you do, it's really not work... and if it brings in money, so much the better.

I always thought it would be clever for young people to teach older people how to use all the functions on their cell phones. A lot of older people, like 40+ have no idea how to text message or how to program rings into their cell phones. Just set a price to do it and advertise on supermarket bulletin boards. Only meet people in public places, though, never at their homes, and tell someone where you'll be and when to expect you back. I'd pay $20 to have someone teach me how to use my cell phone -- I have no idea how to use half the functions on it, and that's something that usually kids know.

Collect cans, sell your blood plasma, have a garage/yard sale (or at the flea market, type papers for people, baby sit for people while they are in class, house sit, dog walk, if you want a second job, try answering phones at an answering service (they might let you study while you are there). Hope these help!

Hi, my wife has a great career she does from home in her spare time. The company is awsome and we even get benefits for our family. I was skeptical that she was going to make money at it at first, but her business took off quickly. Email me and I can give you more details if you are interested in anything like that.
