From explorer, right-click on a folder that you want to share on the machine that has the music.

Pick "Sharing and Security" from the pop-up menu.

Pick Share this folder in the dialog, giving the folder a certain name that your other computer will use to connect (like SharedMusic).

Click OK.

Now, right-click on My Computer from the Desktop and select Properties. Click on the Computer Name tab and see what the computer's name is (like JONESCOMPUTER).

On the other computer, open Explorer and pick Tools > Map Network Drive from the menu. Select a drive letter, and for folder, type in:
\\JONESCOMPUTER\SharedMusic
Click OK. You may be prompted to enter a User name and password if the other computer is configured for multiple users. Just pick a user name and password that's used to access the other computer.

The music folder on the other computer should now appear as a networked drive that you can copy files back & forth using click & drag.

Make sure you have file sharing still enabled on the system, then
place the files in the shared files folder and then you will be able to access them

It's easy, run a crossover cable between 2 computers and enable file sharing.
