I'm 33 weeks pregnant. My husband and I don't spend much time together and I'm lonely. I've been wanting to go out and find friends but I just don't know where or how I am going to find friends...especially after the baby is born.

There are many places to meet other people and even make friends with others that are pregnant like you.
I am not sure which state you're in, but there are several groups for prenatal mothers. Google - Healthy Families America and see if there's one near your home. Then give them a call and talk to them about trying to find a social circle and explain that you are pregnant. They'll be able to help you.

Find a Mommy group. It's a group of Mother's who get together often to discuss concerns over their children/husbands/lives, they let their children play, if you need a few hours alone someone volunteers to babysit, etc. Search local websites like Craigslist.com. Ask the community who has a Mommy group that is looking for more members. It's fun having your own little club to belong to.

Join a baby Aerobics class, that way, you two are out and about and you get to meet new people.

Congrats on the baby!

I read that one woman made little business cards, only for friendship. She put her name and number on them, and I think her kid's name and age, and handed them out to other young mothers she saw at the gym, grocery store, daycare, etc.

She said it worked really, really well and there are lots of new moms out there who need someone to hang out with.
