Yes, I am a virgin and intend to remain a virgin until I'm married. Really, I do not need or want to place myself at risk of contacting a sexually transmitted disease of any kind, I do not need or want to place myself at risk of getting pregnant, having to worry if my body can even carry or deliver a baby to term, let alone, worry about my ability or inability to care for a baby on my own. I was born with a developmental disability, and cannot care for myself, as it is, without help, and also my disability physically affects me. I can't walk.
More than that, I believe I'm well worth waiting for and that God will bless me with a man who agrees.
There's something beautiful about virginity to me and that is purity.
