Don't need an opinion on not to abort. (it's not for me @ all) I think she's about 1 month pregnant since she just found out. My only question is how much does it cost to have an abortion @ the age of 18? & what methods are there?

There are basically 2 types of abortion. There is the medical abortion which is a series of 3 pills that you take. It makes you feel like you are having a really bad period except you can bleed for about two weeks. It costs about $600. There is also the surgical D and C abortion (vacuum). You can either be awake while they do it or be put to sleep. That one costs about $400. The medical abortion takes longer to go through and costs more but it is not as invasive.
What ever she decides make sure it is done in a clean, safe, and professional environment.

Just because she just found out..doesn't mean she's only 1 month. Most people don't find out until they are several months along....maybe 3 or 4 usually.
I don't think the cost changes because of someone's age either. I'm sure she can talk to someone about the methods and costs at a clinic. Try planned parenthood. I had a girlfriend who had an abortion and she went to them.

Planned Parenthood is her best bet. Like another person mentioned it is based on income. If your friend doesn't make much money it will be free. She first needs to go have a free pregnancy test done at the clinic to verify pregnancy, then go to speak about temporary medical coverage if she qualifies.
The Planned Parenthood website will describe the procedures they use.
Abortion is very serious, I am pro-choice for sure. Just be sure your friend has had a chance to discuss the situation with someone, you or a counselor before she does it. If she has doubts she might want to reconsider. Some take it well, others not so well.

At age 18, you may be able to get it done free at Planned Parent Hood even without insurance.
There are different types of abortion methods so I believe they vary by price. I think it may be somewhere around $200.00

The cost varies on how long you wait, the sooner the cheaper it is, at 1 month, it may be about $200. And I'm not sure what you mean by methods. If you mean it's how it's done, it's like the doctor makes you go into labor, and sucks out the baby.

for the most part, depending on what state you are in- it costs about $300 (roughly)
it is a very traumatic experience and one she will not forget soon. you are corralled into a room full of other women who aren't sure they are doing the right thing, given a valium and an antiinflammitory drug and made to wait until they take affect. after that, you are taken to the room where they spread you out on a table and remove the lining of your uterus. you are made to sign a form saying that it may not take- and that you may develop an infection... and given birth control pills before you leave. they will not let you drive yourself home, must ahve a ride.
all this said, i suggest you forego the abortion and have the child, my oldest son is 18 (i had him at 18) and is a very promising adult, who is attending college in pursuit of his associates degree. i contemplated abortion with him. i had an abortion 5 years ago- and regret it daily

go to plannedparenthood.com they have lots of great info and they have centers all over the place, they also perform the procedure.. i know that it costs more the farther along you are.. i believe the cost is more or less $500 .. you should contact someone in planned parenthood and ask them!

Relatively cheap, and now they have just a simple pill.
She's 18, so will probably qualify for help in paying for the meds. Go to local Health department.

I suppose we will have to deliver a danger for child to be born. Human and animals alike.. nature have a method to manipulate them (notably for animals). I should not have a puppy atm, however there are a number of stray cats in my tricky that support to manipulate the rat populace (and lizard, they normally devour them).
