suck in your cheecks like a fish (or just turn you're face to the side like a profile) and take a big brush (to spread the blush) and brush the blush along you're cheekbones about 1 to 2 inches away from your ear. to make your cheek bones stand out, use a blush darker than you're skin color. you can put blush on your cheek's apples, but it doesn't define your cheekbones. it defines your "apples". if you want to do it that way, go with a light color like pink.

They say to hold two fingers flat against your face w/ the middle finger against the edge of your nose at bottom by the nostrils and the index finger where it lays is where you start the blush and work in a sweeping upwards motion, so some is on the actual cheek and some is on the apple of the cheek! And then blend it with your fingers lightly! Experiment w/ different shades together to see what looks the best, I like to use a cream or gel blush first then a powder cuz it seeems to last longer! Good luck & have fun!

SMILE, look in the mirror and apply it on the apples of your cheeks in a gentle circular motion for a natural look. Invest in a good quality blush brush. And if your face is wide, you can sweep the brush slowly all the way towards your ears. That will give an illusion of a narrower face. Remember, when applying powdered blush, always tap the brush first before applying to the face to remove excess powder. For cream blush, best to mix with a little moisturizer so that it will blend easily on the skin. For a natural look, liquid blusher from Benefit is awesome and easy to use.

It depends on the shape of your face and what you would like to get out of applying the blush, less full face, smaller nose, etc. For most people following the cheekbone from the corner of their eye out to the hairline is the way to go. To narrow a wide nose put a touch of blush on either side of the bridge. Any other tips you can go to cosmo on-line. Good luck.

Use a blush brush to apply it upward and outward at the apple of your cheeks. I like CoverGirl Classic Color in Rose Silk. You can get it for like $6 in any drugstore like Rite Aid, CVS, or Eckerd. It's fantastic!

Suck your cheeks in and the defined bone area that is obvious is where you put blush along.

Lightly on the apples.
If you do it on your cheekbones it looks harsh and desperate.
