She's for putting a tiny dent in our deficit. Democrats are trying this great thing called pay/go. It means if it's going to cost something, you better find the money to pay for it. And what greater way than repealing tax breaks for an industry that is already making record profits?
What do they need our $14 billion dollars for, they make HUGE profits without it? I guess there's nothing wrong with a little more cash thrown on top of the money pile. But, considering my tax dollars will be tossed on top of that pile, I think I'd prefer them to go elsewhere.

What? Did you hear this on FOX news? Or was it Rush. No one has added a $9 tax to a barrel of oil in this country.
Democrats did take back the $18 billion tax cut for big oil given to them by Republicans. Tha is not a tax increase, that's a return to a fair tax.

Raising min.wage is good for all low income families. Does not affect middle-class or rich as much.
Adding $9 tax to a barrell of oil is a good thing. If gas goes up, then we drive less and or get more fuel efficient vehicles. The Environment and Planet benefits from less emissions dumped into the atmosphere.
Also less money going to oil producing nations which harbor secret terrorist organizations.
Bush said it himself,( although he doesn't believe in doing so )We need to depend less on oil.
Lets look at the big picture.
