Johnny Depp!
I trust his movie choices because he leans toward the quirky, rebellious, creative roles. I have seen all his movies except for the one I still can't find that he directed "The Brave."
I probably would not have seen the POTC movies if he was not in them, but glad I did cause I thought they were great. I am not sure if I would feel that way if some other actor played his role as Captain Jack Sparrow though, so yes, he made the difference.
There are several movies I would never have even known about, but saw them because he was in them-liked them all! Again, because I enjoy watching him act.

I only see the movies I like. For example I saw Kate Beckinsale in both Underworld movies, but did not see her in Click because that movie is lame.

Without a doubt Gabriel Bryne. He's always in good films at least worth watching.

Sean Conery is one of mine. I like him in just about everything he's done. Some of his more obscure films that I watched include:
"Zardos" hated it.
"Family Business" I like him and Matthew Brodrick, but didn't buy Dustin Hoffman as the genetic link between them.
"Darby O'Gill And The Little People" Conery was just starting out and was really wasted in the film. He is in it for maybe 15 minutes altogether.

Evan Rachel Wood
After I saw her in "Thirteen" I look up her filmography and rented every movie she was ever in. There's something about her eyes when she acts. She is beautiful and talented and I love her. I saw Down In The Valley a newer one she made with Edward Norton (who I LOVE) and it was TERRIBLE> I was so disappointed.

Mos-Def I loved the fact that he was going to be in Hitchiker Guide to the Galaxy. But good lord that movie was horrible. Ill see or listen to anything this guy puts out!!!
