After it's was in Iraq, does the US believe it has any credibility left when it asks China to explain itself?

The US has the military power to do whatever it wants - and it does, just like China. Most people in the outside world really frown upon the US because of the attitude it displays as the righteous, self-nominated police force. The mess in Iraq and the news emerging from Guantanamo Bay then makes the government look so hypocritical and incompetent. China on the other hand doesn't even try to cover up the fact that it doesn't give a damn about human rights or other countries apart from itself.

So I'm afraid, whether or not the US believes it, there is no credibility left in the opinion of most people in the outside world.

The americans are incompetent war-mongers, what was Iraq all about, freeing the people from the "oppression" of saddam or oil? They start a war and britain are always daft enough to go along with it, I just hope we stand up for ourselves if America challenge Iran, and when we do get involved we lose more soldiers to "friendly fire" from the americans than our supposed enemy!

Let me ask you a question, since when has a bullet been "friendly"?

Especially when in the hands of an American!

USA being the only remaining superpower is quite a dangerous situation. If they find they can continue to invade any other country they want to, they may get too greedy and who knows what would happen.
Look what happened when Germany got too greedy, we had 2 world wars. Lets hope America has the sense to know what is allowed and what is going too far.

not with nancy pelosi in power. there has to be someone there who actually understands al qaeda is real deadly and commands a need for response. when you elect tax and spend liberals such as ms pelosi you get a blueprint like the first hundred hours about tax and spend. they could care less about solving the iraqi problem and al qaeda is hoping to capitalize on that. the thing about bush is being right isnt always being pc. its a shame clinton didnt understand that or wtc would be still standing.

how could you have credibility when the leader of a country basically says God told him to bomb brown people to get wmd. if he had said something like that in a court of law, he would have been laughed out and ruled insane. most people outside of america knew iraq had no wmd, as america had stopped selling the wmb to iraq. america used to have alot of credibility on the world stage but that has been eroding. by the time america overthrew the democratically elected gov't of iran and paved the way for theocracy , credibility was running thin. after sept 11 1973 overthrowing the democratically elected gov't chile , i doubt america had to worry about a credibility problem as it had none.

I'd suggest you actually look at the first 100 days of the Bush administration. In pursuing the neo-conservative agenda, the Bush administration managed to alienate pretty much every nation on earth.

9/11 bought the US a great deal of international sympathy - which the neo-conservatives proceeded to utilize effectively in its internationally (and long overdue) approved invasion of Afghanistan, and then once again squandered in its idiotic and unjustified invasion of Iraq.
