Maybe 256 mb? It should be already set to best configuration. (One smart thing done by microsoft!)

The general rule of thumb is to set your virtual memory at 150% of you physical ram so you should set your virtual memory to 1152 megs, and contrary to what some people think leaving the vm system managed is not always a good idea, especially if you use some memory intensive programs due to the fact that if it is system managed the os will just keep enlarging it as it needs more instead of dumping uneeded data from memory and this can fill your drive in some cases, not very likely and i have only seen it happen once but it can happen

You don't have to set a thing set windows up to do it for you and your computer will probably be a lot more efficient since it can expand your virtual memory when you need it and can reduce it when you don't need the extra. So just let windows do it on its own that would be your best bet.

even as putting the RAM and hitting F1 on bootth is only the BIOS asking to make positive you knew it replaced. no longer some thing else desires to be executed with that. in case you enable homestead windows take care of your digital reminiscence that is going sturdy for most human beings. you should in reality ought to artwork on that in case you're transferring it to a distinctivepersistent (say a Dpersistent really of Cpersistent) because you're low on area.

Don't worry about setting it manually... let windows do it... that way it will grow and shrink as needed. You don't want to have space alloted for fulltime... unless you have lots of harddrive space.
