You'll probably find that this is true mostly for men whose mothers used to buy their clothes for them. Now they take a utilitarian approach to the topic, because their sense for fashion was never developed. I've always been some bloody-minded little guy and bought what I wanted from my pocket money. I am actually kinda chuffed with my own sense of fashion, but on the "downside", most people think I'm gay now. That's the other reason for ya, I guess. Homophobia. Men are afraid of failing the bloke test...

Because men aren't as self conscious as women, not difficult really.
We don't have a hundred pairs of shoes for different things! We have trainers, work shoes, going out shoes.....you have shoes which just match clothes with no real purpose other than the colour and style match.
I'm not stupid though! I cleverly take a female whenever I go shopping so I don't buy stuff that makes me look an idiot!

Thats quite a generalisation! I know plenty of men who have fashion sense and guess what? They're not gay!

Men have better fashion sense than women.
But they are also responsible adults who consider the financial implications of their actions.
Since you bimbos don't give a damn about your family you are free to buy endless quantities of crap to make you feel good.
Men don't do that because they care about the people around them.

but really, to most men, that stuffs just not too important. its not their fault though. it's todays society. if a man has good fashion sense, he's labelled, GAY. =/

because as a man, i know this, you have one life to live, don't worry about trying to please everyone else by how you dress, as that is the definition of "fashion". "fashion" is stupid.dress how you like, don't keep checking magazines and hollyweird people to see what's popular.and by the way, i have ONE pair of shoes, when they go bad, i'll buy another pair.

Oh please.........don't stereotype men that way! Some men, as in me for example do not give one iota about fashion.....I dress to please ME......not you, anyone else or whatever the current fad is. I'm a REAL person.......not plastic.
