my friend wants to go to this one club tonight which i'm fine with i love going clubbing but the thing about this club is its a gay club. i have never been to a gay club. No i'm not a homophobe i mean my best friend is gay but anywho. why does it bother me she wants to go there of all places?

Suck it up and go. If it stinks, take a cab home. But Gay clubs are usually much more fun than straight clubs...music is historically better.

Maybe you are worried that you will get hit on my the person of your sex. You shouldn't worry, if you let them know you are straight, they leave you alone, but still manage to include you in all the fun. Don't worry, going to gay clubs is a riot, and they won't do anything to you, unless your gay, that's a different story. But yes, don't worry, I believe you'll be fine.

Probably just because it is something different that you have never experienced--that always happens with something new. But in this case, though you are not homophobic, you live in a culture where you know the conotations attached to this.
My advise is just to go and have a good time. Lesbians are not going to hit on you like happens with guys. In fact, as you probably already know--they are a lot of fun--total girls--and you know how fun girls are:)

good question let her know how you feel but also remember that if your friend is gay and you guys go clubbing at regular places and your friend gets hit on don't you think that it is kind of the same?? Plus what is good for one and not the other is so unreal

go to the club and have fun! i have spent all sorts of time in gay clubs (even took my father to a drag show once) and have never seen any more fun ppl or less inhibited ppl anywhere!

Does she go with you to straight clubs?
If yes then you should have no problem going with her.
She won't leave you hangin' so don't worry.
Just go, I bet you have a great time.
I'm sure plenty of other girls will be eying you because you are a new face but trust me you'll have a big laugh about it and dance your pants off.
You're just nervous because you haven't been before.

Seriously, I'm a straight guy and I have been to gay clubs. They are fun. Everybody dances and wears nice clothes.

Go with her and have fun. Enjoy the atmosphere you may learn something new. maybe it bothers you because you want to keep her as your friend. and maybe you are afraid of losing her there to someone else for the evening.Stop you negative feelings, go out and have fun.

Go have fun if nothing else for the experience, lots of straight people go there too so just enjoy it:) I love drag shows it's really neat.
