The reason he has not picked C. blanco or memo ochoa is not becuase he doesnt like them, but its becuase Club America is in the middle of their important match to see if they're going to copa libertadores, so he CAN'T pick ANYONE from Club america. And that list isnt the final list, its just a rough draft basicly, he is gonna keep on changing the list until he finds the perfect squad and team work for the mexican national team. But about marques, i dont know, but im pretty sure he is busy with barcelona so he cant fly half way across the world for this. dont get your hopes down, he will eventually put them on the list soon. I hope i answered your question!

Yeah, personally I don't really like Hugo Sanchez the public figure; the player was great and deserves all the praise that he gets, but that's it, as a person I think he has a lot of issues to work out. He's really arrogant, and doesn't mind letting his arrogance get in the way of things that are greater than himself (la seleccion), which can be very dangerous. I saw the same show that you're talking about, but I don't agree 100% with those guys; son muy exagerados. It's true that he has issues, but they talked about him as if they were medically trained to diagnose him with a mental disease, which is basically what they did. But they were right in pointing out that he's so arrogant that he only hears what is going to reinforce what he already thinks of himself. But I don't know why people are so surprised by this because that's how he's always been. He was like that as a player too, clashing with teammates and coaches all the time. Aside from the personality issues, I think the real reason people should reconsider whether he's the right person for the job is his skill as a head coach. It's true that he was the first to win back-to-back championships in torneos cortos, but he hadn't proven much else. Actually, if anyone remembers, Pumas really suffered afterwards under Hugo and came close to relegation. He got the seleccion job because of his name, and because he was the loudest, but that doesn't mean he's the most qualified. He's too rigid in his system to be a great coach because you have to be able to adapt to different opponents and other conditions that may happen during a game. The fact that he always plays a 4-4-2 or that he has the policy of substituting players out if they get a yellow card no matter what kind of game they were having shows that he's too immature as a coach. You have to be able to show confidence in a player; if he's having a great game and gets a yellow because of one tackle, you have to be able to trust that player that they will do what they need to do to avoid getting the second yellow. Good players are used to this, they know how to play under that kind of pressure, but Hugo treats them like children and takes them out instead.

I think he messed up by not calling Rafa Marquez, but it is true about America being in an important match in the Libertadores.
I don;t think he should call Blanco because I believe that after Germany 06 and all the trouble there was between him and Lavolpe he basically prooved that we don't need him anymore. And on a personla opinion I like Fonseca and Borgetti better than Blanco. I met him a couple of years ago when he (America) played a friendly match in the state of Georgia (USA) with a team from around here I was in the stadium in the field and I can tell you that he is not a very nice, and polite person, he bosses people around just 'cause he is famous. Kleber was also there and he was awesome.

Hugo's list is just a preliminary, sort of like a rough draft. Rafa, Osoria, Pardo and all of the rest of the european club players are not in the list because this is just going to be a practice session that will last from sunday to wednesday and not the complete list for the "Fecha FIFA" game against USA.

This is the first game, many more changes can occur it it not the end.

is not the final list, his just trying out players to see who's staying. Later, for the qualifying games start he will call all the players that are playing in Europe. as for Ochoa, Mexico doesn't need to worry about that, they have Sanchez the best goalkeeper in Mexico...this are some of the players that i think are going to make the final list

oswaldo Sanchez
Jesus corona

Carlos Salcido
Rafa marquez
osorio
maza rodriguez

ramon morales
alberto medina
luis perez
pardo

borghetti
fonseca
bravo
bofo
nery castillo
giovanni dos santos

It's early, Ochoa is a good keeper and i think he will soon make the list. I am a long time Chivas fan but not a fan of Oswaldo......he makes too many stupid mistakes. I think Ochoa is the future goal keeper for el tri. Rafa Marquez will be in........ too good of a defensive player not to be. Give Hugo a chance.....he is better than Lavolpe..

Its because this is the first list its the list to play an amistoso thats y he didnt include marquez cuau memo salcido and all other players because the game isnt as important but im sure that on the next lists he'll include 'em oh and the reason he didnt include any america player is because they are goin to play the repechaje for libertadores and he doesnt want to take any away

He had good reasons not to include those players. It's gonna be interesting to see how they do without them. Chill, he can change it up in the future. The list actually doesn't look too bad. I mean, if the other players were in it it would be nice but it's fine the way it is, for now.

Yeah i agree with him on the players he called....
.
players from Club America (Copa Libertadores) are playing their pass to the Groups and the ones playing in Europe were not called right now because is not FIFA schedule....
.
i think he made good decision in calling Correa, Pinto, Guardado...they are still young....but calling out Bernal, and Borgetti i don't know...
.
I never liked Torrado because most of his passes are not certain when it comes to playing in International tournaments
