Well, Davy at first, till I saw the appeal of Micky's wit, and then I empathized with Peter, because he always had to be the dumb one. Mike was really the only one I never had a crush on. I didn't catch Monkeemania till 1985, when my best friend in high school introduced me to them. Only after I was thoroughly smitten did they reunite and tour, and was I in heaven!

It was always Davy Jones growing up. However, I think I would have went with Mike Nesmith if I was like I am now.

Mike Nesmith.....he possessed a very dry wit and was the best songwriter out of the four. He also fought for creative freedom for the band, which resulted in such albums as "Headquarters".
