Me and my mom were just wondering and if it varies from state to state then what about in Oregon????

As far as I know the answer is yes. If not then it's a "hung jury".

It has to be every single person voting Guilty or Not Guilty, if one person doesn't agree then it is a hung jury and they will retry the case with a new jury. However, a jury will usually not always be unanimous to begin with and will take hours and sometimes days to determine the defendants' guilt or innocence and maybe persuade a juror or more of the reasons they believe the defendandt is guilty or innocent.
