I wouldn't recommend either for a couple of reasons. First, aluminum is not a suitably strong material to construct a "regular Chassis" (I know, race cars have aluminum chassis, but they are usually "bird-cage" style and impractical for street use.

Magnesium is even worse. Did you know that magnesium burns really well? Why do you think the use magnesium in flares? The so-called "mag wheels" are usually alloyed with another metal - usually steel or aluminum to reduce theitr flash point!

I'd suggest you just go to your nearest steel supplier and welder and have them whip up a suitable frame. Don't forget, you'll need suspension mounting points, crossmembers, engine mounts and a whole lot of other stuff.

Not sure what kind of budget or even what kind of chassis (monocouque, space frame, unibody,rail) you are looking for but here are some manufacturers. agreed for the most part with the first answer.
