How many times have you seen a film, and end up spending longer than the picture itself doing the 'shoulda', offering up actors and actresses better suited for certain roles instead of those whose efforts were lackluster or unconvincing.

I felt that after seeing First Knight. Lancelot should have been played by someone with a stronger personality and better looks than Richard Gere. It was very disappointing.

YEs. The lead in Silent Hill was godawful. Such a shame with the amount of work that everyone else put into it across the creative spectrum. Yahoo answers...great for rants!

yeah there have been some real odd ones havent there.

its usually when they get popular musicians of the moment to act in films. The latest would be Justin timberlake.??!

Usher attempted it, so did nelly... These musicians are so up their own ego...sigh

As for actors themselves. Ive always found english actor Clive owen hit and miss.

Yes...all the time. Especially when it comes to voices in animated movies. For example...although Titan A.E. bombed...I loved it...but the voices were soo wrong...I mean Drew Barrymore as a tough but hot Asian woman? Pffft !
