Always use a razor with at least 3 blades. Then use a ton of moisturizing shave cream. For the bumps use Bikini Zone..I love it!

If you shave in the direction that the hair grows your shave will not be as close as shaving against the grain but it will prevent ingrown hairs. Also try to use a hypo-allergenic shaving cream or lotion if you use any at all. A dull or well used razor will carry alot of bacteria and dead skin which will clog your pores quickly, so use a new clean razor too.

Shave in the direction the hair grows and never against it. If you still have problems use the wonder product called Tend Skin. http://tendskin.com/. This stuff is great for men who always get bumps when they shave as well.

I have heard that using baby lotion when you shave the bikini area it will cut down on the breakout. I have never really had a problem with it so I do not know if it works.

After you shave that area, use a product called bikini zone in that area. You can get it at any drugstore. It is a medicated gel, and believe me it really works.
