There have been many situations in public when little kids just walk up to me for no apparent reason and start talking to me. Then they follow me around until they get called by their parents. This is very strange, it's like they think I'm Ronald McDonald or Mickey Mouse or something. Do I emit some kind of child-attracting pheromones or am I just funny-looking...
Seriously now, how do I stop this from happening? They should not be around me, it is not good for them. I am a sour, depressed, withered, nearly-suicidal person. I am mentally unstable and not something that little children should have in their innocent lives for so much as a second. I don't really want to tell them to scram, that would be rude.
Any other choices?

I love kids I'm just afraid that if they see my corruption they will lose their innocence.

You guys may be right about them wanting to help me. They do make me happy for that brief moment. Then they leave and I'm once again staring only the cold world in the face.

kids see and feel things they probably sense that you re depressed so they want to cheer you up. your not sending out the message that you dont want kids around or else they would pick up on that.
sounds to me the children are there for a reason maybe just as simple as to make you think of something else instead of conteplating suicide. enjoy their company they could help you if you let them. think of them as little angels. im not religious just tryig to make a point there ther for a reason.

I have the same problem, because I am attractive and kids love attractive people. You should just not think of it as a problem and capitalize on it. Now I am a Balloon Artist who makes animal shapes out of balloons, making money off these kids, it is GREAT money. You need to look into it, become a clown, entertain kids, do something, you are a magnet, thats MONEY. Be a hustler

Maybe they want to cheer you up?? Who knows? I don't mind kids walking up to me and talking. I think it's cute! There's nothing wrong with it...they're just innocent and being friendly.

Children are much more intellignet than given credit for. Perhaps they sense that you need them.
