Bomb, certainly not, dissappoint yes. They lost focus as a company and because of this, their so called killer system did not do great
I basica starter kit for a PS3 + games + HDMI is very expensive, like 700-800
for xbox 360, there are many commercial deals which often included 2-4 games for around $400

guys think aobut 2-3years time thats when ps3 will be in full stride! im in NZ an there are very few retailers who even sell full HD 1080P tvs, some can emulate and d/l it, but the game are only first generation and all is looking good. Pluss work it out, how much for a blu-ray set? damn not cheap and how much for the 360 HDDVD addon? not cheap if you take in the price of the 360 itself!

Not really. Unlike the Xbox 360, this was designed as a media center/video game console, not a dedicated game console.

well i dont see what the big deal was about it. i like games llike anybody else but i didnt see what all the exciment was about and all the losers waiting in line for days to get it. I personally think im going to get the xbox 360 but im going to wait untill it goes down in price. im cool with the regular xbox i have right now.
