I have 3 Female platies, They are all preganat, They was that way when I bought them from walmart. and it has been over a week since I have got them.... one of them look like they are ready to explode... How long does it useally take for them to give birth.

if they are streesed out which they probally are since you just got them recently they have the ability to "hold" their babies. if they hold them to long it can kill them, but in general it takes about 4 weeks for them to have their babies

About 3-4 weeks but im sure if they are ready to explode then they are about 3 1/2 weeks.

I'm not an expert on this, but here's an article on live breeding fish. It looks like all you have to do is provide the proper environment and the fish can handle the rest by themselves.
