I wasn't going to answer this question because of all the NeoCons out there but Mike B's comment that he is one of the BEST, prodded me into now answering. You've got to be kidding me...one of the BEST? For what possible reason? The fact that despite the fact that Clinton had balanced the budget for several years and he's gotten more in debt than ever? Or the fact that he lied about Iraq and has gotten more of our troops killed than all the people who died on September 11? Or the fact that he ignores the public and does whatever the hell he wants to do? Isn't it awfully funny that we have been dealing with crippling high gas prices after he took office and all his oil buddies are making the highest profits than any other company EVER. I honestly think he is going to go down as the WORST president ever and considering some of them we've had, that's saying a lot.

Well, if we talk percentages pissed off, many Americans definitely DID NOT like President William Henry Harrison, he gave an unforgivably long innaguration speech (105 minutes) got pneumonia as a result and died in office 20-some days later, so while not seriously pissed they could conceivably have been mildly pissed at him for a longer by percentage of time in office than probably anyone else.

Sure Kennedy had the Bay of Pigs,Johnson had Viet Nam, Nixon had Watergate, Reagan had Iran-Contra and Bush has Iraq, that whole CIA/Prison/Detentions thing that domestic NSA stuff etc but on the whole, I'm going with President Harrison's speech.

Being pissed off a Pres. Harrison for just a couple of days could be like being pissed at Pres. Bush for nearly 2 years - straight. While some have been doing that - most probably have not.

As far as overall or historically, a recent poll didn't look too good for W's rating as a kind of president.

Bush(2)
4% outstanding
15% above average
27% average
25% below average
29% poor

Clinton
12% outstanding,
33% above average,
29% average,
15% below average,
10% poor

Bush(1)
5% outstanding,
27% above average,
50% average,
10% below average,
8% poor
....
Ford
6% outstanding
17% above average
60% average
9% below average
3% poor

Yes, and especially since he wants to send many more tropps over the Iraq, he is ridiculous. Especially after seeing him on 60 minutes.

I can't say I'm an expert on all of them, but from what I currently know, yes he's the worst.

It's not Bush's fault. We elected him. And by "we" I mean the small minority that voted and not the MAJORITY who stayed home in protest of his running for a 2nd term.
