Cos it's fun and camp and I Wilhelmina knows no colour other than white loll AND i just read who the masked lady REALLY is which is revealed in the last episode..so they'd better continue the storyline!!!

btw as someone rightly said the shrouded woman is indeed daniel's supposedly deceased bro alex...post-sexchange operation which made me laugh out loud!

This show is perfection. A sweet character, a good laugh, a little bitchiness, and a some morality thrown in. What more could you ask for? It just keeps getting better and better.

there will definatley be a second season of ugly betty. the ratings are very high and thy cant't end the show with a cliff hanger. i didnt understand at first what the shocker was. but it turns out, from what i saw, that fey summors was dead, but they made you believe that the secret shrouded charcater was indeed fey summors, after the fact that fey was in a car accicendt and she was badly disfigured and needed oxygen to help keep her alive. but it turns out that the shrouded figure was the recovering alex meade, daniel's assumed dead brother. but alex had had a sex change and is now "alexis" meade. WOW! shocker! SERIOUSLY! you can so totally tell that they used rebecca romane as the shrouded figure for this episode only because in the past episodes it always showed an assumed older actress, that we thought was fey summors. OH!! and it never showed "fey summors" aka assumed shrouded figure standing up, she was always sitting down, due to the fact that Alex was really tall, next to Willimeana, and fey was somewhat short.

I don't know if there will be a second season. But I do enjoy the show. In fact, it's the only show that I make a point of watching.
You can go to ABC's website and, depending on where you live in the world, watch past episodes (the US only), previews, and a few episodes of that soap opera that Hilda watches. It's good fun for us Ugly Betty addicts.

Of course it will have a second season. I see it as a long runner. It's Golden Globe winning and probably Emmy's soon too. And shes not Ugly!!! The show has a great meesage for girls in this superficial era with too much Lindsay Lohan.

I think they will be a second season. The actress who plays Betty has been on many talk shows recently and seems very much in demand. I like the show too.

I don't know but I hope so. It is one of my favorite shows to watch. I didn't think that I would even like it when it first came on. I am now addicted to it.
