hello again......i suppose you can and do, but i find that i start out shooting for quality and end up with nothing....

Of course. When the quality of something is at it's highest, then the quantity will also grow.

Thinking in industrial terms: if the product is of quality, then quantity will naturally increase because of consumer preference and also lack of waste.

Thinking in social terms: if a person works on his/her quality (integrity, honesty, etc.) then this person's quantity of friends, acquaintances and colleagues will naturally increase.

sure. how do you think some business got started they had quality, the goods they were trying to sell, and ended up with quantity a lot of said item because they first started out with quality. OK so that's probably a stupid answer but oh well.

Sure. I like to cook, so that's what popped into my mind when I read your question. You could make a really good recipe, such as stew, soup or hot cocoa and then add some water to it to make it stretch further and you'd have more quantity, but less quality. You could take a fine wine and mix it with a lesser wine in order to have more and give up quality for quantity.

Dude it depends, lets say for example you own a bussines that deals on selling appliances, you focus on quality soon your bussines will flourish and now youl be focusing on quntity (dont mind my grammar i was in a rush hope this helps)

If you are speaking of higher quality of appraisal (refined taste and marketing intuition) and scientific ability, metro logical certainty, then higher quality at the start would certainly better your productivity and profit margin.
