Well I started liking boys at like age 7 but maybe I'm abnormal. I didn't start thinking about a physical relationship until I was about 12 or 13. In physical I mean hugs, kisses, and maybe a touch here or there. Some kids are already have sex by that age now-a-days but I was way too shy with boys at that age to even begin to try a sexual relationship. Young kids, though, think holding hands is intense or playing with a boy at recess. In younger I mean like 6.

For some kids, as early as five or so. When I was in third grade (8) I had a "torrid and mutual affair" with a very handsome young man. Of course, it was nothing more than talking before class and trying to think up ways we could be together after school (which neither of our mothers would facilitate) - but then we did get to be dance partners for the square dancing demonstration. Oh the romance of it all.......

Two answers.
Sexually (as in attracted to one another...) generally at puberty... so generally sometime after 9ish years old...
Interested - they seem to do that from very early on - I've watched a lot of tiny kiddies fascinated by babies, and once they recognize that boys and girls are different... well, the game of doctor begins... LOL - investigating the differences between each other.

If you mean boys and girls I said that boys interested in girls from{ 6 years...... } but girls interested in boys from { 12 years......} Any way kids don't interested in each other under 6 years exept to funy only I think that.

I actually had crushes on guys since I was in the 1st grade, and all of my friends did back then. But it wasn't a sexual interest. That didn't happen until we were 12 or 13, and not sexual interest as in sex; but as in kissing. (don't want people to get the wrong idea).
