I have a nice sized purple sabae anemone and it loves to eat live gold fish and it's pretty cool to watch. How does the anemone actually digest? My shrimp will eat goldfish to is that weird? It's pretty cool when it cleans my hand also.

I got it at a local pet shop. I mean I started feeding it live food to see if it would eat it and it did. I could feed it brine shrimp or pellets cause my tang bites them out of the anemone before it can eat them.

You should only "feed" your anemone if it isn't getting enough food on it's own and is shrinking in size. If you have other fish in the tank (esp. clownfish that make the anemone "home") it's probably getting enough to eat from excess food/fish droppings. At any rate, goldfish are a poor choice of food (nutritionally speaking) as they are high in fat. Frozen silversides (a saltwater fish), squid, clams, mussels, krill and chunks of shrimp would be better and more natural for your anemone. Also, don't overfeed - once a week is enough!
