Because women yell on TV and in the movies, and so other women think it is normal.
In most cultures, women do NOT yell all the time. I for one never yell and I don't throw things across the room either. I prefer the silent treatment, which is best served with a smile.

I am a woman. I don't yell. My husband USED to yell. He yelled because he was frustrated and did not feel heard. He yelled because he got away with it. I wouldn't be yelled at, so I left. He stopped yelling and learned to express himself in ways I could hear. Yelling turned me off, tuned me out and made me generally dislike him. Yelling was not getting his needs met, so he yelled louder. He yelled so loud he was single. So...don't tolerate your women yelling. Listen to them. If they have a point, negotiate a deal. Otherwise listen when they can say it in a normal tone of voice, otherwise excuse yourself until they can calm down and act like grown-ups. If two grown ups can't negotiate a deal when they are supposed to love each other, then what's the point? Best of luck!

well some women yell maybe because of when they were little or while they were growing up they have had someone always yelling in their family..or someone who was always fighting and arguing...sometimes it's just anger and irritation in them..there could be alot of different reasons why women yell.. possibly b/c the person is not listening or the person keeps asking the same thing...or they are not paying attention to that person..alot of different reasons..

Hmm I could also ask why do men yell so much? In general why does anyone yell at all. All it gets you is a sore throat and a headache.
