I would KILL to have my husband be like that!!!
Woman, what is wrong with you??
I've got an idea, let him go so he can find a woman who will NO DOUBT appreciate his "feminine side", that way you can live in a disgusting house that reeks of dog urine... Mmmmm, yummy.
And if you have time to listen to him b*tch, then you probably have time to help, too. He just might relax a little more if he wasn't carrying the entire houseload of work, and then *gasp*, you would have less to snap about, and more time to enjoy your unique husband.
P.S. If you want a housekeeper so bad, hire one anyways and take him out, so when you get home, there is NOTHING for him to do except relax.

I was wondering if you would think he acted like a women if it was his car or truck that he was cleaning? Some people take care of the things that they own. If he is working ten hr. days and you are also working allot then whats wrong with taking care of your guys stuff. Would you rather him trash the house and leave trash all over. Then you would have to come home and clean up after him. I think that you are buying in to the stereo type for men.. There are millions of guys that clean up and do laundry and all that (as you say) woman stuff.. Go get some wine and when he cleans sit back take a bath and love the idea of having a clean house that you didn't have to clean or pay some one to clean..
I hope this helped you some.
I wish the best to the both of you..
P.S There are bigger problems in life other then having a husband that likes to clean.

your hubby isn't the problem, it's you. all he's doing is trying to keep his own house clean and you're griping about it! i would be happy that i didn't have to do any of it if i were you. i understand that people work long hours, but there is no reason that you can't at least help out every once and a while a clean. i work a full time job, a part time job, have a dog, a 1 year old son, and i'm 7 months pregnant. somehow i still find time to do the things that need to be done around my house. amazing isn't it.

I understand how you feel, my husband does close to the same thing. He does stuff himself and then complains that I should have done it. We have 3 kids and both work full time plus. Men just don't know any better I think. They just think their stupid caveman ways that they house needs to be perfectly clean and if we don't do it then they will but not happily. Just tell your husband if he wants to clean the house then fine do it but don't complain about it. You should feel a little forunate he does things around the house, I've heard a lot of men don't do much of anything!

Your husband is a clean freak and you are upset?
Your dog pees on the floor in the house! Ewwwwww!
If he thinks it is too nasty to hire a house keeper, then it must be pretty bad. So, why don't YOU help him get it to a non-nasty state, and THEN hire a housekeeper to maintain it.

yeah, thats seriously a plus. a husband doing the housecleaning is unheard of. i doubt you work more than him, and even if you do i think its a woman's job to take care of a home. he's doing it because he doesnt want to live in filth. you should probably reciprocate those feelings. and maybe help out once in a while. he should be griping that you dont get anything done.

Chill. If you don't have the time to do it, and he's doing if for you, what's the problem?
I love it when my husband comes home and cleans. He wakes up early and does the laundry sometimes too.

You know, you really are lucky to have a man that cleans......if it is interfering with your relationship because you both work to much to spend time together than hire someone.....even if it is dirty, they are used to it....they do clean for a living.
